Cynthia Hendon

Cynthia Hendon joined BlueCross BlueShield of Texas in 1998 as a member of the leadership team. She has over 30 years of inbound/outbound call center management experience with a focus on providing a preeminent service experience to customers. She currently serves as the Site Leader in the San Angelo Full Service Unit where she has primary responsibility of all site operations. In her tenure, Cynthia has managed claims, membership, mailroom, and customer service operations. One of Cynthia’s passions within BCBS is leading a department of over Bilingual representatives who handle Group Member Customer Service across 5 states for multiple lines of business. Cynthia currently serves as Chairperson and Committee Lead (Commerce) for the Latin America Business Group for BlueCross BlueShield of Tx. Additionally, she is a Compliance and Diversity ambassador for HCSC. In the San Angelo community, she has served as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Myonsol Ministries as Finance Administrator, and was an advisor to Galilee Community Dev.  Cynthia thoroughly enjoys serving, mentoring and leading those who interacts with to live intentionally, impactfully, and with daily purpose.
